The people behind
Alkatout Legal
A boutique practice dedicated exclusively to family law.
Our firm specializes in family law and is firmly established in both German- and French-speaking Switzerland. The international dimension is an integral part of who we are: Through a network of partner law firms in more than 80 countries, we handle cross-border cases with the same confidence as we do domestic cases—wherever family, assets, and residency extend across national borders.
Josef Alkatout
We advise and represent our clients in all areas of family law—both in negotiations and in court proceedings. Our practice areas range from marriage and unmarried couples to legal separation and divorce, child protection, family law criminal proceedings, adoption, and same-sex parenthood. We handle marital estate planning—in particular, the drafting and negotiation of international prenuptial agreements—and act immediately in emergency situations: in cases of child abduction, disputes over parental rights, and orders for seizure or freezing of assets.
